Ultherapy is a great noninvasive option to tighten and lift loose skin on the face, neck and décolletage/chest. Ultherapy sends focused micro-pulses of gentle ultrasound energy through the surface of the skin to reach its deeper layers. Each micro-pulse of energy stimulates collagen repair and renewal.
Dr. Key participated in a select national panel to establish the current treatment protocol for Ultherapy. We are Ultherapy experts and we’ve created a way to improve your results. We’ve combined our Ultherapy experience with the gentleness of ThermiSmooth, to visibly improve the hard to treat areas around the eyes, mouth and underchin. This combination therapy is Ultherapy Plus.
What you can expect:
An Ultherapy Plus treatment takes about 1-2 hours depending on the area treated.
Although it is strictly based on the individual, many of our patients find Ultherapy to be uncomfortable. During the consultation we will discuss pain management to make the treatment more comfortable. Medicines such as Vicodin or Percocet along with Ativan for nerves can be taken in our office an hour before your procedure. If you are using pain medication you will need to make arrangements for a driver to take you home. Many of our patients also do well with Tylenol or Advil alone.
Post treatment side effects vary based on the individual. The most common are swelling and sometimes bruising.
In the months following Ultherapy Plus, collagen will build and tighten skin from within. Your best results will emerge as early as 2-3 months and build for 6-9 months. We often see results in our patients lasting 2-3 years and longer.
Why you should choose Key Laser for Ultherapy Plus:
The Key Laser Institute was the first clinic in Oregon to offer Ultherapy. Our trained medical providers have done more than a thousand Ultherapy treatments and regularly attend advanced training sessions around the country. As a result of our experience, we have discovered a way to improve the results of Ultherapy. We are now pleased to offer you the added value of ThermiSmooth treatments with Ultherapy to create a lifting, tightening and smoothing combination therapy.
