Meet the Staff of the Key Laser Institute®

Yan Duan, MSN, NP, Clinical Administrator

Licensed by the Oregon Board of Nursing as a family nurse practitioner, Yan brings a wealth of clinical experience, leadership, and research skills to Key Laser Institute’s team of providers. Over the last 14 years, she has practiced nursing in specialty areas including medical/surgical nursing in acute care and home health nursing. As a nurse practitioner, Yan has worked in family practice, cardiology, and most recently, emergency care.

Yan is sensitive and compassionate when providing patient care. She also believes that patient education is an integral part of her clinical practice. You will find Yan a pleasant and caring person who tirelessly advocates for her patients to achieve best quality care.

In addition, Yan has been a nursing educator for the past eleven years. She has served as a full-time nursing faculty member with two universities, most recently with University of Portland. Being an academic her entire adult life, Yan is committed to life-long learning, and research. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate with Ohio University, and is working on her doctoral dissertation.

Jenny Zdrantan, BSN, RN, Clinical Associate

Jenny joined the clinical staff in 2007. A top honors graduate of OHSU School of Nursing, and an experienced neonatal intensive care nurse, Jenny is a perceptive and gentle provider. She administers next generation cosmetic medical treatments, including injectable and laser treatments.

Shellie Garber, RN, Clinical Associate

Shellie possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of cosmetic dermatology, having worked with Dr. Key since 1996. She administers all injectable and most laser, light and radiofrequency treatments, and assists Dr. Key with both surgical procedures and his clinical research. A respected educator, Shellie is a great source of information to patients and a highly valued member of the clinical team.

Andrea Civello, Clinical Associate

A graduate of the University of Oregon, Andrea has been a part of the Key Laser Institute team since 2001. She is a licensed medical aesthetician, and is studying to become a registered nurse. Personable and thorough, Andrea currently provides skin care consultation, administers treatments, and assists Dr. Key in surgery.

Kathy Nesen, Clinical Associate

Kathy joined the Key Laser Institute in 2002. She is a licensed Medical Aesthetician and possesses both certification and real world experience as an Emergency Medical Technician. Today, following comprehensive training with Dr. Key, she serves as his primary surgical assistant and is a member of his consultation team. A gentle and caring individual, Kathy is a greatly valued clinical team member and appreciated by the patients to whom she administers the Key Laser Institute's state-of-the-art cosmetic treatments.

Allie Hodge, Clinical Associate

Allie joined the Key Laser Institute's clinical team in 2005, bringing over ten years of experience as both a Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician. Personable and compassionate, she administers treatments and also serves as a member of Dr. Key's consultation team.

Yvonne Tyler, Patient Services Specialist

One may first notice Yvonne’s vibrant energy and pleasant voice, but it is her professionalism and commitment to perfecting the details for our patients that leave a lasting impression. With a foundation in patient care and over 20 years of customer service experience, YVonne serves as a member of Dr. Key’s consultation and Patient Services team.

Stephanie Green, Skincare and Patient Services Specialist

Stephanie joined the Key Laser Institute team in 2007. As seasoned skincare specialist and make-up artist, Stephanie is a valuable member of Dr. Key’s consultation and Patient Services team. Stephanie is a knowledgeable resource, and enjoys helping patients define a personalized skincare regimen.

ReNae Schwartz, Assistant Administrator

Originally from California where she worked most recently in the UCLA Graduate School of Education, ReNae is responsible for more than the Key Laser Institute's accounts payable / receivable; she plays an integral role in the day-to-day functioning of the office. Her variety of talents empowers each member of the Key Laser Institute team to do their jobs to the best of their abilities.
