Gentle YAG is one of our most versatile laser treatments. This non-invasive infrared laser has long pulse settings that gently heat the skin and result in a collagen-building response that creates new collagen and skin tightening. Dr. Key was the first author to publish a study on the greater effectiveness of Gentle YAG Laser Lift as compared to Thermage RF for lifting and tightening the skin.
What you can expect with Gentle YAG Laser Lift:
- For skin tightening we recommend a package of 3 treatments about 2-4 weeks apart.
- A Gentle YAG laser treatment takes about 30-45 minutes.
- The Gentle YAG laser creates a warming sensation on the skin. Most patients experience very little discomfort during treatment.
- There is no social downtime following a YAG Tightening treatment. There may be a slight blush tone or redness following treatment. Although uncommon, some patients experience mild swelling.
