UltraClear® Treatments in Portland
Before your treatment, Dr. Key will perform a skin consultation to ensure you are a good candidate for this treatment. Candidates for UltraClear® laser treatment must be in generally good health and have no active skin infections or flare-ups at the time of treatment.
During your UltraClear® laser treatment, your skin professional will cleanse the area and apply a numbing cream to reduce possible treatment discomfort. After the numbing cream works effectively, the UltraClear® laser will be gently applied against the targeted treatment areas. The laser resurfacing treatment will address pigmentation and texture concerns as it triggers natural exfoliation of the skin.
The UltraClear® laser treatment takes around 15 minutes to complete. Since the treatment is customizable, your session intensity and duration will vary based on your skin concerns and needs.
The UltraClear® treatment offers minimal downtime and discomfort afterward. It can take two to three days for your skin to appear smooth and radiant or up to a week for those with a deeper treatment.
You may want to avoid significant social events for up to a week after deep treatment to allow redness, swelling, and skin sensitivity to be reduced. It is best that you avoid UV exposure and wear SPF while your skin heals from the treatments.
